That’s why we are here.

What started as a mental health crisis of historic proportions has shifted into a broader public health crisis; and those with disabilities are suffering the most.

Mental health needs are the single largest driver of disability costs. The National Alliance of Mental Illness estimates that untreated mental illness already costs us up to $300 billion annually due to lost productivity and associated costs due to absenteeism, employee turnover increases in medical and disability expenses.

Our mental health care system, which was built as a patchwork of clinics, was already overwhelmed and unable to adequately support the needs of serious mental health illness prior to the pandemic. So now, more than ever, we need tools and resources to help the growing mental health needs of this country.

And that's why we created Toivoa. We are breaking the mold by striving to develop accessible innovations meant to address mental health illness through a scalable, digital, personalized cognitive behavioral therapy for people with disabilities. Because everyone deserves a chance to grow and heal.

"I have a long-standing commitment to address the unmet needs of people with disabilities. Toivoa’s commitment to innovate and deliver mental health digital therapeutics to our large, diverse and underserved community is critical to reduce disparities and achieve equity for people with disabilities.  Achieving health equity in people with disabilities living with mental illness requires a multi-stage approach that includes person-centered, clinically effective, accessible therapy to address mental illness. Toivoa has done just that.  That is why I have agreed to work with Toivoa to achieve their inspiring mission to improve the lives of people with disabilities living with mental illness."
